I Get You & I Like You: Watch The New Trailer For 'Girls' Season 3

Girls Lena Dunham Zosia Mamet Jemima Kirke Allison Williams

To be young, neurotic, creative and adrift in New York City… Those are just a few flavors of the lives of single young women that Lena Dunham brings to the small screen in “Girls,” her much discussed semi-controversial HBO show. And while some have christened the program as the new “Sex & The City,” Dunham has pushed way beyond any boundaries set by that show. Season 2 saw her playing with the format to incredible results, particularly the short film-esque “One Man’s Trash” (aka The Patrick Wilson Episode, one of our 15 Best TV Episodes Of 2013), and so we’re very curious to see where season 3 goes.

However, this new trailer doesn’t rock the boat too much, presenting the core quartet of girls who now have new challenges to face. It looks like Hannah’s writing career is beginning to take off, while Marnie continues to fumble through her dating life. Meanwhile, Shoshanna and Jessa maintain their supporting roles in what looks to be another winning season; fingers crossed.

“Girls” debuts on January 12, 2014 with back-to-back episodes starting at 10 PM. Check out the trailer below followed by a TV spot.
