There are fans who want to go into their superhero movies cold, and those that don’t, and for the latter, it must be difficult to resist the temptation to check out the marketing materials in the run-up to a movie. Especially for followers of the Marvel-verse, as the studio does blanket marketing better than most, and they are certainly picking up momentum with about a month to go until “Thor: The Dark World.”
The first clip has landed this afternoon from the movie, though no spoilers here. It’s an extended sequence we’ve seen from the trailers, with Chris Hemsworth‘s Thor seeing the assistance of his detained brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), who you might remember, nearly wiped out New York City and the world in “The Avengers.” There’s no trust to be had between the pair, but the Hammer-wielding hero needs his help. After that is a featurette, which takes you through the shooting locations, and if you’re interested, followed by some character posters.
“Thor: The Dark World” arrives on November 8th. [Bleeding Cool/ComingSoon]
