Summer tentpole season is nearly over and while we’re not sad to see it go, that doesn’t mean we can’t muster enough excitement for one last blockbuster. Neill Blomkamp’s “Elysium” opens in theaters in a couple of weeks and the studio has released an action-packed new clip through EW.
Set around a heist, the clip runs just under a minute and sees Matt Damon already wearing the exoskeleton and ripping off William Fichtner—who’s always getting robbed, see “Heat” and “The Dark Knight”—and facing his security droids. It’s pretty intense and we can’t wait to see it in its full context, not to mention the slo-mo explosions are pretty sweet.
