A Good Day To Twihard: Sink Your Teeth Into A New Clip, Featurette & Poster From 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2'

nullNow that everyone seems to have forgotten about that Kristen Stewart, Rupert Sanders, and Robert Pattinson love triangle (if that’s what you’d like to call it), Summit Entertainment is quick to turn the eyes of the public towards the romantic mishaps of Bella, Jacob, and Edward. That’s right ladies and vamps, the “epic finale” of the “Twilight” series entitled “Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2” is making its way to theaters shortly, and a new clip, featurette, and poster have been unleashed upon us – or rather the tweens who eat this stuff up.

First up is a new clip showcasing the literal strengths of Bella (Stewart) now that she’s *OMG SPOILER ALERT* been turned into a vampire at the hands of Edward (Pattinson) at the end of 'Breaking Dawn Part 1.' The other Cullen family member Emmett (Kellan Lutz) challenges Bella to an arm wrestling match to see if she’s got the abnormal strength of a newborn blood sucker, because that’s just what adults do to their new sisters-in-law, right? The clip maintains the sort of music video look and feel that “Dreamgirls” filmmaker Bill Condon lent the last installment, and we’re not entirely sure that’s a good thing.

The featurette is a little more straightforward, possibly appealing to even those who aren’t entirely on board with “Twilight,” showcasing a lot of the more pleasing special effects and storyline that go into this finale. For fans of the series, you’ve probably already read the book and know the story, but this featurette gives us a sort visual logline that details Bella and Edward’s fight to keep their newborn child from the hands of vampire overlords the Volturi – and it looks as if it will all end in one giant climactic battle the way all these literary adaptations do. Speaking of the Volutri, there’s also a new poster showcasing the bunch, with leader Aro (Michael Sheen) most visible, and a tagline offering that this will be “The Epic Finale That Will Live Forever.” We’ll see about that. Sheen was arguably the most interesting past of the series so far, yet he was mostly tacked onto the end of 'New Moon' to start setting up for the mega battle that will come at the end of this installment.

While the “Twilight” series may not be our thing, it’s hard to argue that this film is certainly going to play big with others, and we’re almost positive it’ll steamroll competition at the box office when it drops on November 16th, just in time for the holidays. Happy Thanksgiving! Check out the videos and poster below.
