With Blumhouse having a great weekend with “Insidious: Chapter 2” destroying the box office, leading to near instant development on a third movie, the horror house is barely stopping to take a breath. They’ve announced yet another scare flick with a one word title beginning the letter “I”—”Incarnate.” This time around, it will be Aaron Eckhart getting frightened playing “an unconventional exorcist who can tap into the subconscious of the possessed [who] meets his match when a 9-year-old boy is possessed by a demon from his past.” So, basically another exorcism movie? Brad Peyton will direct, from a script by Ronnie Christensen (“Dark Tide“). [Deadline]

Over in Australia, Teresa Palmer and Luke Hemsworth (yes, there is a third one) have joined the ensemble for “Kill Me Three Times.” Starring Simon Pegg, Sullivan Stapleton, Alice Braga, Bryan Brown and Callan Mulvey, the film centers on a young singer (Braga) in a multi-threaded tale of blackmail and revenge that includes a mercurial assassin (Pegg), a gambling addict (Stapleton) and a small town Lady Macbeth (Palmer) amongst others. Production is already underway in and around Perth and the southwest region of Western Australia with Kriv Stenders at the helm.

Lastly, Jennifer Garner must’ve liked “Magic Mike,” because she’s returning to TV to produce “The Whole Shebang” for Warner Bros. The project will reunite Garner with “Butter” writer Jason Micallef, who will pen the drama about ” a newly single soccer mom who inherits a rundown male strip club. She unexpectedly finds herself at the center of a dysfunctional, makeshift family that helps her take charge of her life.” She probably also unexpectedly discovers lots of thongs and penis pumps too. No word yet on any network interest, but if you walk into a boardroom and say, ” ‘Magic Mike’ the TV show,” more than a few folks will be interested. [Variety]
