'Abbas Kiarostami: A Retrospective' Trailer: Janus Films Highlights The Acclaimed Filmmaker's Best Films & Never-Before-Seen Shorts

Assisted by Criterion, mk2, and Ahmad Kiarostami, Janus is showcasing new restorations of classics, such as the acclaimed ‘Koker Trilogy,’ which consists of the films “Where is the Friend’s House?” “And Life Goes On,” and “Through the Olive Trees.” Of course, then you have features like “Taste of Cherry,” which won the Palme d’Or at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival, as well as “Shirin,” “The Wind Will Carry Us,” and much more.

In addition, the Kiarostami retrospective will include a variety of short features and shorts that have never been seen before and will complete your experience, giving audiences even more insight into the acclaimed filmmaker and his work.

“Abbas Kiarostami: A Retrospective” opens July 26 in New York and will tour in various cities, including Philadelphia, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
