And Then The Drums Come In: It's The Trailer For David Lynch's Album 'Crazy Clown Time'

So, what has David Lynch been up to since “Inland Empire“? Well, doing everything but making another movie. Oh sure, he might have a new film in the works, and there’s that transcendental meditation documentary knocking around, but he’s otherwise been doing ads for fashion labels, directing concert webcasts, making short films like the piece he recently put together for Viennale Fest ‘11, and oh yeah, he recorded his first album which comes out next month.

That’s right, Lynch is getting ready to invade your iPod with Crazy Clown Time, and you’ve probably already heard the first single “Good Day Today.” Well, here’s more of a tease for the album in the shape of a trailer that is pure Lynch through and through, except with less midgets. It’s a pretty interesting little spot, that will probably be better than the album itself, but for those of you waiting for his next cinematic opus, this will have to do. But hey, he did manage to wrangle Karen O to make an appearance on the disc, so we’re curious nonetheless.

Anyway, the album comes out on November 8th. Check out the trailer below.
