Alternatively known as "Breacher" or "Ten" throughout pre-production, it looks like the latter, more boring title is sticking. But the next effort in the Arnold Schwarzenegger comeback/post-Governator career — which will kick off with his first leading role in years in "The Last Stand" next year — finds him sticking to the action genre he knows. But the first pic of him in character from the set leaves us asking a lot of questions, starting with: is he in a ska band now?
We don't know for sure, but it seems Arnie borrowed his latest cut from a vegan punk who's studying 16th century lit with a minor in philosophy, who also plays in an avant-folk band. This is certainly a more slick Arnie than we've seen before. All the better to heist with, we suppose. The movie, penned by Skip Woods ("Swordfish," "The A-Team") and being directed by David Ayers ("End of Watch"), centers on an elite DEA task force who rob a drug cartel safe house, after which each member of the team starts getting taken down one by one. And a pretty massive bunch of players are coming along for the ride, with Sam Worthington, Terrence Howard, Joe Manganiello, Dawn Olivieri, Malin Akerman, Olivia Williams, Mirielle Enos and Josh Holloway all nabbing roles.
Arnie compares his character and the movie's structure to "Predator," but we'd warn you not to get your expectations too high. No release date yet, but next fall probably isn't too far out of the question. Feast your eyes on the whole thing below. [ComingSoon]
