'Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice' Officially Rated PG-13

Batman v Superman: Dawn Of JusticeWell, here’s some news that will shock absolutely no one: Zack Snyder‘s gritty and dark "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" has received a rating that is appropriate and fitting. Indeed, the man who brought the "Man Of Steel" into the realm of big screen mega-destruction seems to have created a picture that does much of the same in his followup.

The MPAA has officially stamped ‘Batman v Superman’ with a PG-13 rating for "intense sequences of violence and action throughout, and some sensuality." That latter designation is probably due to Wonder Woman exposing her bare shoulders, if the generally conservative nature of the MPAA is anything to go by.

Overall, this rating has no actual bearing on the quality of Snyder’s movie, but some folks will make hay with it anyway. "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" opens on March 25, 2016. [Box Office Mojo]
