'Beauty And The Beast' and 'Stranger Things' Big Winners At MTV Movie And TV Awards 2017 [Complete List]

The Adam Devine hosted telecast was a bit of a mess for the newly christened 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards, but the fan-voted (or are they?) honors spread the wealth across a number of different movies and TV shows.

“Beauty and the Beast” took home Movie of the Year as well as Best Actor in a Movie (Emma Watson) while “Stranger Things” and Millie Bobby Brown won the respective television honors. “Get Out” took at least* two honors including Comedic Performance (Lil Rel Howery) and Breakthrough (Daniel Kaluuya).  “Lip Sync Battle” stole the Trending Award for Channing Tatum and Beyonce‘s collaboration, but it’s notable that the program it stole its whole conception from, “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” won the major honor, Best Reality Competition.  Both are series produced for Viacom’s insurgent cable networks, Spike and VH1, so just something to ponder.
