As you might have gathered by my cynicism, “Berlin, I Love You” is far from my cup of tea. These types of films, which pull together a variety of “segments” into a “film” and make it seem like everything interesting that can happen, will happen in the city of their choosing, are solely targeted at folks that just want a simple escape into mind-numbing emotional pornography. “Berlin, I Love You” stars just about everyone ever, but more specifically, Keira Knightley, Helen Mirren, Luke Wilson, Mickey Rourke, Jenna Dewan, Diego Luna, Jim Sturgess, Nolan Funk, Charlotte Le Bon, Iwan Rheon, and Dianna Agron. If you’re interested in the filmmakers responsible, the list includes directors Dianna Agron, Peter Chelsom, Claus Clausen, Fernando Eimbcke, Justin Franklin, Dennis Gansel, Dani Levy, Daniel Lwowski, Stephanie Martin, Josef Rusnak, Til Schweiger, and Massy Tadjedin.
The film is scheduled to hit theaters, as well as Digital and On Demand, on February 8.
