In a move that has probably surprised no one who has watched the slow moving, years-upon-years worth of development of "Beverly Hills Cop 4," the movie, which had been scheduled to hit theaters on March 25, 2016, has been pulled off Paramount‘s calendar, according to The Wrap. Eddie Murphy told Rolling Stone in January that, “They[‘re] still trying to get that script right," which has also been the case forever, so again, not much of a shock, particularly combined with the fact no one has really heard any real news about the movie. But what may surprise you is that Murphy is a best selling reggae artist now.

Yep, Murphy has been quietly releasing reggae music for the past little while, but he recently saw his latest sizzling jam, "Oh Jah Jah," top the iTunes Reggae Singles Chart and debut in the Top 5 on the U.S. Billboard Reggae Digital Song Chart. Huh. The song is about as generic as reggae can get, and the video, unearthed by Uproxx, is dreadful (seriously, what is with those transitions and wipes?), but the earnestness is palpable.
