Enemy of my enemy is my friend. That seems to be the running theme of the upcoming season of Showtime’s hit drama series “Billions.” Whereas the first few seasons saw Bobby Axelrod and Chuck Rhoades at each other’s throats, trying to bring the other down, Season 4 turns that premise on its head.
As seen in the new trailer for the upcoming season of “Billions,” the former enemies are now friends (albeit still not pleased with each other) as both stand to gain something from this new alliance. For Rhoades, he wants his enemy to help him attain a political position. And for Axelrod, he wants this new partnership to help bring down Taylor Mason, who has screwed over everyone in their path. Will the alliance prosper or turn into a slow-motion car crash?

Here’s the synopsis:
When everyone is out for revenge, no one is safe. This is never more true than in season 4 of BILLIONS. Bobby Axelrod (Lewis) and Chuck Rhoades (Giamatti), former enemies, and Wendy Rhoades (Maggie Siff), the chief counselor to each, have come together to form an uneasy but highly effective alliance, aimed at the eradication of all their rivals, including Grigor Andolov (guest star John Malkovich), Taylor Mason (Asia Kate Dillon), Bryan Connerty (Toby Leonard Moore) and Waylon “Jock” Jeffcoat (guest star Clancy Brown). Ambition and betrayal have long been at the heart of BILLIONS, and this season all the characters find out exactly how high a price they’ll have to pay to satisfy those needs.
