'Bob's Burgers Movie' Trailer: Get Ready For Mystery, Meat, & Mayhem

The feature-length film version of a TV show rarely lights up the screen. Hell, even “The Simpsons” movie was well-received, but it’s not like it changed much for the show, and it Fox went back to plugging away at endless seasons. It’s unclear, what the endgame is for ‘Bob’s Burgers,’ but 20th Century Studios released the new trailer for “The Bob’s Burgers Movie” at WonderCon in Anaheim, California, on Sunday. Screened for enthusiastic fans along with other footage from the film at a lively panel presentation with the filmmakers and cast, 20th Century has now put that trailer online for the film, which will open in U.S. theaters on May 27, 2022.

‘Central Park’ Trailer: ‘Bob’s Burgers’ Creator Has An Animated Musical Comedy Coming To Apple TV+

Here’s the official synopsis:

“The Bob’s Burgers Movie” is an animated, big-screen, musical comedy-mystery-adventure based on the long-running Emmy®-winning series. The story begins when a ruptured water main creates an enormous sinkhole right in front of Bob’s Burgers, blocking the entrance indefinitely and ruining the Belchers’ plans for a successful summer. While Bob and Linda struggle to keep the business afloat, the kids try to solve a mystery that could save their family’s restaurant. As the dangers mount, these underdogs help each other find hope and fight to get back behind the counter, where they belong.

Interestingly enough, ‘Bobs Burgers’ writers, Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin, were originally tapped by 20th Century to write the “Deadpool” movie, but it also appears that Ryan Reynolds and co. have reverted back to their original writers. Regardless, “The Bob’s Burger’s Movie” hits soon on May 27, so get a taste of the new trailer below.
