As seen in the trailer for “The Broken Hearts Gallery,” the film follows the story of a young woman that is reeling from a recent breakup and somehow finds her way into a strangers car when she thinks it’s a Lyft. Yes, that sounds like the premise of a horror film, but in ‘Broken Hearts,’ this terrifying situation is a meet-cute that leads to the unlikely pair finding love and blah blah blah. You know what type of movie this is right? You know what happens.

Despite the fairly strange premise, “The Broken Hearts Gallery” does have some pretty great up-and-coming actors in the cast. Geraldine Viswanathan, of “Blockers” and “Bad Education” fame, stars as the unlikely-at-love woman, while Dacre Montgomery (“Stranger Things,” “Power Rangers”) stars as her new love interest. Joining those two in the cast are Utkarsh Ambudkar, Molly Gordon, Phillipa Soo, Suki Waterhouse, Arturo Castro, Ego Nwodim, Taylor Hill, and Bernadette Peters.
