The stars of two acclaimed television shows, “Breaking Bad” and “Southland” are set to team up.
Bryan Cranston, who just walked home with his third straight Emmy on Sunday night and Michael Cudlitz have joined the indie thriller “The Grief Tourist.” The film follows “a troubled soul who retraces the footsteps of serial killers who fascinate him as his hobby. His dark obsession with past killers soon becomes his reality and leads viewers on a menacing and horrific journey inside his twisted mind.”
The premise sounds pretty cornball but we’ll see how it plays out. The film will be directed by Suri Krishnamma and was written by Frank John Hughes, who seems to have a fan in Cranston, who is also starring in the Hughes-scribed “Leave.” Cudlitz was also great on HBO’s “Band of Brothers” a few years back.
