Kate Winslet is attached to star in a Todd Haynes miniseries based on James M. HBO is a favorite to snare the series. [BFDealMemo]

The Manhattan location of John Hughes’s tragic heart attack has been released. Hughes was reportedly walking alone on West 55th Street in Manhattan when he was stricken with chest pains. From there, he crossed south, stumbled to the water valves jutting from the wall at 60 West 55th Street, sat there and attempted to catch his breath. 911 operators received a call at 8:55 from a witness and when medics arrived 15 minutes later he was unconscious. Hughes was taken to Roosevelt Hospital where he was soon pronounced dead. R.I.P. [Movieline]
