With “Jurassic World” dropping next summer, there’s perhaps no better time to start riding the nostalgia train a little bit. It has been over a decade since Steven Spielberg wowed audiences with “Jurassic Park,” and while the technical wizardry is still very much appreciated, not to mention the fact it’s just a good piece of popcorn entertainment, John Williams‘ score deserves major praise for doing some of the lifting when it comes to projecting the sheer awe of the film. And Mondo is doing their part to give it a bit more shine.
The company is getting ready to drop a vinyl reissue of the soundtrack in a couple of spiffy packages. Artists J.C. Richard and Dan McCarthy have created new packages for the release, that will set you back $35 for the double LP edition. But the money will be worth it for the gatefold artwork, and if you’re lucky to snap it up, some color LPs too. Tracklist, artwork and details below. Get your clicking hand ready—these go on sales on June 11th at MondoTees.
