While the first trailer for "Bachelorette" was amusing, it didn't seem to quite capture the spirit that has earned the girls-gone-bad comedy an R rating. But in case you wanted to know how foul things get, a new red band spot has dropped, and among the first things mentioned in the spot are blowjobs and cocaine. Getting our attention? Mission accomplished.
Starring four of our faves — Kirsten Dunst, Lizzy Caplan, Isla Fisher and Rebel Wilson — along with James Marsden and Adam Scott, and based on the play by Leslye Headland, who wrote the screenplay and directed the feature film, the story centers on three best friends (Caplan, Fisher, Dunst) who are invited to act as bridesmaids at the wedding of a girl they called “Pigface” in high school. And as you'll see, not only are they not exactly thrilled to see this happening, they also manage to bring all kinds of havoc to the proceedings. There are some pretty decent one liners in here, and we're just thrilled to see Henry and Casey back together from "Party Down," if only ever so briefly.
While our man in Park City wasn't quite taken with the film, this writer is still eager to give it a shot. "Bachelorette" goes VOD on August 10th and will hit theaters in limited release on September 7th. Watch below.
