Last week we covered the soundtrack of “Pirate Radio” — the British ensemble comedy which features a very strong cast including, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Bill Nighy, Rhys Ifans, Nick Frost, Kenneth Branagh, Gemma Arterton, Emma Thompson, and January Jones to name just a few.
It’s a 2-disc, 32-track grab bag of Nuggets-era tracks (the Easybeats), ’60s deep soul (Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Otis Redding, Dusty Springfield), British Invasion pop (The Turtles, The Troggs, The Kinks, The Who) and vintage rock classics (Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Jeff Beck) among many, many others and it’s due in stores tomorrow (November 10).
The film hits U.S. theaters this Friday (November 14), and we’ve got an easy little giveaway contest for you. We have five copies of the 2-disc soundtrack to giveaway and all you have to do is email us the answer to this very simple trivia question: what was the film originally titled in the U.K. when it was released earlier this year? Update: Contest Closed, sorry.
First five correct responses win, but U.S. residents only this time, sorry. Bonne chance.
