We know the winter moviegoing season can be a bit disheartening, but if the multiplex doesn't have any options for you, there's no better time to curl up at home and rediscover an old classic. And Otto Preminger's classic noir "Laura" gets the high def treatment in February and we've got a couple of copies for some lucky readers.
Told largely in flashback, the film follows Detective Mark McPherson (Dana Andrews) as he investigates the murder of Laura Hunt (Gene Tierney), a beautiful Park Avenue society girl. Through the men in her life — critic Waldo Lydecker (Clifton Webb) and playboy fiancé Shelby Carpenter (Vincent Price) — he begins to get a portrait of who she was, until he's in for a shocking surprise. Essentially, this is one of the greats of the genre. So how to do you get a copy?
Email us with your name and address and tell us your favorite scene from any other Otto Preminger movie. Good luck! Update: Contest is closed, winners have been contacted via email.
"Laura" arrives on Blu-Ray on Tuesday, February 5th.
