Oscar Isaac in "Show Me a Hero" Part 2 HBO David SimonNo one does TV quite like David Simon. The writer/creator behind "The Wire," "The Corner," and "Homicide: Life On The Street" has earned a reputation for crafting deeply intelligent, soulful, and realistic stories that feel deeply lived in and are expertly crafted. And last year he delivered another stunner with the Paul Haggis directed "Show Me A Hero." Critical accolades greeted the series, Oscar Isaac took home a Golden Globe win for his performance, and today we want to give some lucky readers a chance own their very own copy of the show.

Co-starring Catherine Keener, Alfred Molina, Winona Ryder, LaTanya Richardson-Jackson, Bob Balaban, Jim Belushi, and Jon Bernthal, the miniseries tells the true story of Mayor Nick Wasicsko who is faced with a federal court order that says he must build a small number of low-income housing units in the white neighborhoods of his town. His attempt to do so tears the city apart, paralyzes the municipal government and, ultimately, destroys the mayor and his political future. It’s a tremendous story, with some great thematic depth — a must watch for any Simon fan.
