Former Shudder To Think lead singer Craig Wedren has signed up to score the directorial debut of "The Kids Are All Right" screenwriter Stuart Blumberg, sex-addiction drama "Thanks For Sharing."
Mark Ruffalo, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tim Robbins, Joely Richardson, Patrick Fugit, Josh Gad and Alecia Moore (better known by popstar moniker Pink) all star in the pic, which is set to follow a group of unlikely friends who are brought together through their shared determination to recover from sex addiction and forge meaningful relationships for the first time in their lives. Blumberg co-scripted with Matt Winston for what seems like prime fall festival material.
It's probably an easy guess that Wedren was referred by 'Kids' helmer Lisa Chodolenko with whom he's collaborated on two films, "Laurel Canyon" and "High Art." He also wrote the theme songs to "Reno 911!" and cult favourite "The State" and is also on board to score 'State' alum David Wain's "Wanderlust" starring Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston after working with the helmer on "Hot Wet American Summer."[Film Music Reporter]
