'CSI: Miami' Star Adam Rodriguez Joins 'Magic Mike' And 'The Dark Knight Rises'

Yep, somehow there’s still room for more glistening muscle and testosterone in the cast of Steven Soderbergh‘s male-stripper film “Magic Mike.”

CSI: Miami” star Adam Rodriguez is the latest actor to come on board and will play a stripper like fellow thespians Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello. We predict a hugely emasculating cinematic experience is on the cards for many of us. Thankfully, or perhaps unfortunately if you’re a lady, these guys won’t be on the screen the whole time with comedian Gabriel Iglesias, Olivia Munn, Riley Keough, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Cody Horn also on board. Shooting kicks off this month.

Rodriguez is on a bit of streak right now, as he has also booked a small role in Christopher Nolan‘s currently-filming “The Dark Knight Rises.” No word on what kind of part the actor will play but let’s be realistic, this is Nolan and Batman: other than the major or returning players, it’s not like we know who most of the attached actors really play anyway.

Not that you needed reminding, “The Dark Knight Rises” hits theaters on July 20th, 2012 and features a star-studded cast including Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard and Juno Temple among many others.
