After months of waiting, following the major announcement back in May 2021, Warner Bros. has officially merged with Discovery, creating the aptly titled new company Warner Bros. Discovery. According to a recent report from Variety, WB Discovery CEO David Zaslav is ready to change how DC Entertainment does business. Instead of what seems like a bunch of creatives and studios taking various superheroes and creating content with them, the CEO wants DC Entertainment to become more streamlined and cohesive. And he’s going to make that happen, first, by hiring an executive to oversee the superhero side of the studio, in a similar way to how Kevin Feige runs Marvel Studios
