Did Seth Rogen Convince Jonah Hill To Turn Down Michael Bay For 'Transformers 2'?

Seth Rogen and his pimped out jewfro are on the cover of GQ’s comedy issue and while he bashes “Entourage” (he’s kind of bashing everything these days and is probably a little too candid for his own good), it’s his talk of “Transformers 2” that is interesting.

Rogen’s buddy and Judd Apatow-troupe member Jonah Hill was originally offered the part of the schlubby college roommate in the robot-smashing sequel, but he eventually turned down the role in apparently not the most flattering of ways (allegedly walking out of the room and not saying anything).

Now Rogen is saying he may have influenced that decision. . “I can see if Steven Spielberg’s calling you, asking you to do something, how that’s hard to turn down,” he told GQ. “But what I said to Jonah was, ‘You want to make a movie about fightin’ robots? Make your own movie about fightin’ robots. You can do that. That’s on the table now.’ “

Right now Michael Bay is calling up one of his cronies and yelling into the phone, “Have Jason Segel killed!”
Cronie: “But, but sir!”
Bay: “But nothing! Make it so!” (hangs up phone).

Oh, and for the few people out there that thought Bay’s unsolicited ‘Dark Knight’ script was real (and there did seem to be more than a few of you out there that didn’t seem to get the joke), the testosterone-y, blow-em-up director confirmed that he didn’t write it for those that still need convincing.
