As you might expect, whenever Disney is going to attempt to excite fans and investors, brands like Marvel and “Star Wars” take center stage. And that was definitely the case last night. Almost a dozen projects were mentioned in the world of “Star Wars,” including a brand-new film from Patty Jenkins titled ‘Rogue Squadron.’ Also, if you love “The Mandalorian,” get ready! Disney has 9 new shows on the horizon for your Disney+ enjoyment.
Marvel Studios also came out in full force, showcasing nearly 20 projects including a ton of new TV series, confirming casting for “Ms. Marvel,” “Hawkeye,” and “She-Hulk,” as well as teasing new films like “Captain Marvel 2,” “Thor: Love and Thunder,” “Black Panther II,” and “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Oh yeah, and let’s not forget brand-new series like “Armor Wars” and “Secret Invasion!”
In addition to the franchises you know and love, Disney also has a number of new Disney+ films and animated features arriving on streaming and in theaters…or both. As in the case of “Raya and the Last Dragon,” you’ll be able to catch that animated film in theaters this March or in the comfort of your own home for an additional $30 fee on Disney+. The choice is yours.
So, sit back, relax, and let the Disney news wash over you.
