Ed Norton Sounds Cool To 'Fight Club' Musical Idea; Throws Pitt's Musical Talents Under The Bus

MTV recently sat down with Ed Norton about his work in “Pride & Glory” (a cop dramathat falls astray, btw), but they couldn’t resist asking about the reported “Fight Club” musical. Well, Norton doesn’t sound at all enthusiastic about it, is pretty positive he won’t be in and thinks Brad Pitt can’t sing for shit. Oh and what about NIN’s Trent Reznor potentially doing the music. Norton is all shrugs. Wait, so is he at all intrigued by the idea?

“This has been floating around for a while. I’ve seen different notions of it,” Norton said simply.

Ok, and Trent Reznor? “I doubt it’ll be me and Brad [Pitt],” he shrugged. “I know Brad can’t sing. Reznor would be about the right vibe for it, I guess….” Whoa, that’s enthusiam.

Ok, what about the ‘Hulk’ or “The Avengers.” Will he be back? “I really actually have no information. I don’t know what the agenda is in the moment, but I’m sure you’ll find out more than me.”

Translation: Unless there’s a truckload of dough to heal the rift between me and Marvel and a lot more assurances of creative control, fuck that.
