Emma Watson Gets Biblical With Darren Aronofsky's 'Noah'

emma-watson-Darren Aronofksy's ark that is his next movie "Noah" continues to bring people aboard, and the latest is an actress who has no problem of late finding roles.

Emma Watson has joined the biblical pic, and she'll be playing Ila, who will apparently catch the eye of Noah's son Shem, played by Douglas Booth. And with the world about to be flooded, it might be a good thing to have one of the few women left in the world by your side. Especially if she's Emma Watson. Anyway, she joins the film that already has Russell Crowe in the lead role with her "Perks Of Being A Wallflower" co-star Logan Lerman also on aboard. The big role still left to be cast is that of the villain-esque character (Liev Schrieber is apparently a contender), as well as Noah's wife, with Jennifer Connelly's name still linked, but not official. Saorise Ronan's name was linked around the same time as Connelly's but she won't be in the picture according to reports.

We wonder what this means for "Your Voice In My Head," the drama that was going to be a re-team between Watson and her 'Harry Potter' helmer David Yates. He dropped out of the pic for personal reasons last month, but the producers were still aiming for a summer shoot. But with "Noah" setting sail at the same time, we presume the makers of 'Voice' will have to wait. And so will we for Aronofsky's film—it's not due in theaters until March 28, 2014. [Deadline/Variety]
