Trying to depict delicacy and intensity of young relationships is no easy task, which makes writer/director Hannah Fidell‘s approach for "6 Years" so smart (read our B- Review). Working from a loose screenplay, she allowed the film’s leads Taissa Farmiga and Ben Rosenfield an opportunity to develop their onscreen relationship, leading to a semi-improvised method that allowed the drama to feel more direct and real. And today you can get a taste of that in this exclusive clip from "6 Years."

The story follows Dan and Melanie, a couple in their 20s who have known each other since childhood. Now their 6-year romantic relationship is put to the test when Dan receives an attractive job offer from the record label with whom he interns, and he must choose between a move forward and a future with Mel. But in this scene, the concerns are a bit more trivial, when the discussion of porn comes up, and it’s beautifully played out.
"6 Years" is now available on iTunes and On Demand.
