Exclusive: Clip From Iceland's Cannes Winner 'Rams,' Plus Win The Film On Blu-ray

Even if you’re not following the 2016 Euro Cup, you have likely still heard about Iceland’s triumphant victory over England. It was the second Brexit in a week for the U.K., who saw their hopes for soccer glory once again dashed, only this time at the hands of a longshot underdog, whose co-coach is still a practicing dentist. It will go down in history as one of the greatest soccer moments of all time, and if you still want to keep the Icelandic spirit flowing until Iceland play France this weekend, we’ve got what you need.

Last year, Icelandic filmmaker Grímur Hákonarson‘s “Rams” made waves at the Cannes Film Festival, where it took home the Un Certain Regard award. And today we’ve got some copies on Blu-ray for some lucky readers.

Starring Charlotte Boving, Gudrun Sigurbjornsdottir, Jon Benonysson, Jorundur Ragnarsson, Porleifur Einarsson, Sigurdur Sigurjonsson, Sveinn Olafur Gunnarsson, and Theodor Juliusson, the film follows brothers and shepherds Gummi and Kiddi who live side by side, and tend their flocks, but have not spoken to each other in four decades. When a lethal disease suddenly infects Kiddi’s sheep, the entire valley comes under threat, and they have to team up to save their flocks from being culled. You can get a sense of the film’s offbeat spirit below.
