"Wayward Pines" is earning quite a lot of chatter with only a couple of episodes having been broadcast. Matt Dillon, Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Juliette Lewis and Melissa Leo are among the cast, while M. Night Shyamalan directed the pilot and is executive producing the series. But another key player establishing the mood of the show has been composer Charlie Clouser, and today we have a couple of exclusive tracks from this week’s episode "Our Town, Our Law."
Clouser might be best known as a one-time member of Nine Inch Nails, but he’s made a strong footprint in the television- and film-composing fields. He’s scored seven "Saw" films, "Resident Evil: Extinction" and "Death Sentence," as well as the main title theme music for "American Horror Story." And the tracks below from "Wayward Pines," "Please Stay" and "Forest Kitchen," highlight his ability to conjure stirring, eerie and evocative soundscapes.
"Wayward Pines" airs on Fox on Thursday nights.
