The Knick, Season 2While plenty of ink has deservedly been spilled about Steven Soderbergh‘s masterful direction of "The Knick," no less terrific has been Cliff Martinez‘s soundtrack work on the series. Arguably some of the best music he has created in his career, his electronic pulses and throbs provide a thrilling backdrop to the drama, and are often just as much a highlight as the director’s clever camera moves, or the outstanding performances from the actors.

And today we’re excited to deliver an exclusive listen to "If Anyman Thirst," from the season two soundtrack. This is the cut you would’ve heard during the electric scene near the end of last week’s episode, as Nurse Lucy’s preacher father delivers a blazing sermon to a congregation during his visit to New York City. It’s great stuff.

"The Knick" is now airing on Cinemax and the season two soundtrack will be released digitally on October 30th and on CD on December 18th via Milan Records. The tracklist and the exclusive tune are below.
