It’s hard to describe to someone who has never experienced the companionship of a dog how quickly they become part of your life. And part of the reason is that they are deeply sensitive creatures who can seemingly intuit the wide variety of emotions of their owners and respond to those needs. It’s that quality that makes dogs the perfect vehicle for therapy and rehabilitation, and that’s the focus of the new documentary "Dogs On The Inside," and today we have an exclusive clip.
Directed by Brean Cunningham and Douglas Seirup and from the producer of "Buck," the film follows the inmates of the Massachusetts Correction Facility, who are given neglected and abused dogs to care for and prepare for adoption. What unfolds is healing for the dogs and inmates alike, which is touchingly explored in the clip from the film below, centering on the loveable Sadie.
"Dogs On The Inside" is available today on digital VOD (iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Instant Video, VUDU), and on the official website. Watch the clip below plus the film’s trailer.
