Produced by the Duplass Brothers, and starring Melanie Lynskey, Timm Sharp, and Linas Phillips (who also wrote and directed the movie), “Rainbow Time” follows Todd, who grew up under the strange shadow of his older mentally challenged brother Shonzi. As kids, Shonzi forced Todd to make action movies. As adults Todd is pressured to share love life details, even showing Shonzi a sex tape he made with an old girlfriend to help him cope when family tragedy hits. Now 40 and still a virgin, Shonzi moves in with Todd, and wants to be included in his brother’s relationship with his new girlfriend Lindsay, and things escalate when he threatens to reveal secrets from Todd’s past. And as you’ll see in the scene below, Todd is already on eggshells when he introduces Lindsay to Shonzi.

“Rainbow Time” opens on November 4th.
