Sean Durkin is quickly becoming one of the most fascinating directors around. After breaking out with his terrific “Martha Marcy May Marlene” in 2011, the filmmaker shifted gears and headed abroad to make the British miniseries “Southcliffe” (a must-binge title now available on Netflix), and then in another surprising move, Durkin recently signed up to direct the big screen version of “Little House On The Prairie.” But first, he’s made another detour and has shot a music video, it’s a must watch.
Sharon Van Etten‘s powerful “Your Love Is Killing Me” finds Carla Juri, star of the hotly buzzed “Wetlands,” leaving a bar and going to meet a boyfriend, but with a surprise literally on her sleeves. Just like the song, the video is straightforward, but the execution is direct, powerful and moving.
Check out the video below. Sharon Van Etten is now on tour, and her latest album Are We There is in stores.
