The Scientist, Prince Rakeem, The Abbott, Bobby Digital…these are just a few of the names RZA has had over the years as a hip hop artist, music producer and leader of the Wu Tang Clan. But this Friday, he'll get set to add a new name to his repertoire — Director — as he unveils "The Man With The Iron Fists." An ambitious, colorful kung fu flick, the likes of which Hollywood hasn't produced in years, it's quite the undertaking, but as this new featurette reveals, RZA had the advice and insight of some pretty notable people to guide him.
In "Visualizing The Story," viewers go on set with RZA as he explains the importance of preparation and storyboarding, not just for himself, but for the crew and second and third unit teams, so they can all accurately capture the world he's trying to bring to the big screen. Even more, we catch glimpses of the film's co-writer and co-producer Eli Roth lending a hand, along with pal Quentin Tarantino popping by for a quick look at what's going on, while offering a few words of support.
Starring RZA, Russell Crowe, Lucy Liu and more, "The Man With The Iron Fists" gets ready to fight on Friday, November 2nd. Watch the featurette below.
