The presents have been opened, the holiday traveling is likely drawing to a close, the weather is colder, and you might not want to go out of the house too much. So it’s a perfect time to venture to cinematically sunnier climes, and you couldn’t ask for better travel companions than Steven Coogan and Rob Brydon. Earlier this year, the pair reunited for "The Trip To Italy," the followup to "The Trip," and the movie recently arrived on home video: today, we have the first five minutes from the film below.
Michael Winterbottom is back behind the camera herein, with his semi-fictionalized leads journeying this time to the Italian countryside so that they might eat and drink well. Impressions, debates and arguments abound between the pair, as they retrace the steps of the Romantic poets. If you liked the first movie, this one will likely leave you in stitches as well.
