Last week we reported on the “Weirdsville” movie directed by “Pump Up The Volume” filmmaker Alan Moyle and the films’ Canadian indie-rock centric soundtrack.
Now we have the final details on the soundtrack disc. Due November 27 via Lakeshore records, the 17 track disc features songs by The Dears, Buck 65, Danko Jones and compositions from “Weirdsville” actors Taryn Mannning and Wes Bentley.
The disc also comes with a bonus acoustic demo version of the Manning-sung “It’s Not My Fault” that was written with Fiona Apple producer Mike Elizondo and Avril Lavigne ghostwriter Chantal Kreviazuk (the singer that called Avril out for plagiarism and then recanted), which you can hear below.
