Warner Bros. has been all-in with actor Ezra Miller. They’ve hired the actor to play Barry Allen in their upcoming DC Comics films including “The Flash,” a project that has taken forever to get in front of cameras and is finally being released in 2023. The studio also hired him to be a major player in their “Harry Potter” spinoff franchise “Fantastic Beasts,” which will see its third installment hit theaters soon. Now, the actor has gotten himself arrested and might have the studio having second thoughts about being that invested in him moving forward.
Hawaii Police have announced in a media release that Miller was arrested on Monday for “disorderly conduct and harassment” in Hilo, Hawaii after an altercation at a bar.

The official police media statement reads as follows:
Shortly after midnight on Monday, March 28, 2022, a 29-year-old man visiting from Vermont was arrested and charged for disorderly conduct and harassment after an incident at a bar in Hilo.
On Sunday, March 27, at 11:30 p.m., South Hilo patrol officers responded to a report of disorderly patron at a bar on Silva Street. During the course of their investigation, police determined that the man, later identified as Ezra Miller, became agitated while patrons at the bar began singing karaoke. Miller began yelling obscenities and at one point grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman singing karaoke (disorderly conduct offense) and later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts (harassment offense). The bar owner asked Miller to calm down several times to no avail.
Miller was arrested and charged on both offenses and total bail was set at $500. He provided the bail and was released.
This actually isn’t the first time Miller has got himself into trouble after drinking at a bar.
In April 2020, Miller was filmed in Reykjavik, Iceland allegedly intoxicated and choking/throttling an unnamed woman around the neck outside a local bar, Prikið Kaffihús. The event hasn’t really been talked about since, but it apparently took place after Miller was confronted by a group of eager fans that were “quite pushy.” Things then escalated, with Miller losing their temper at one woman in particular and Miller was eventually escorted from the bar by staff, leading to the video that was shot outside.
The studio begrudgingly replaced Johnny Depp with Mads Mikkelsen on “The Secret of Dumbledore” over his alleged domestic abuse and public legal drama with the British media and ex-wife Amber Heard.
Would they take the steps to sever ties with Miller after a second incident highlights the actor’s potential violent behavior in public settings? Maybe, but Warner Bros. spent years defending Depp’s involvement in their film franchise for children, also championed by author J.K. Rowling, and might not take Miller’s trouble with the law as seriously until someone is seriously hurt or presses charges against the actor.
