nullLast fall, audiences were captivated by the outrageous adventures of Amazing Amy in David Fincher‘s "Gone Girl," so much so that it appears many forgot about another Gillian Flynn adaptation that has been in the can for a while now: namely"Dark Places," starring Charlize Theron. While you might think an A-list leading, big screen take on a best-seller from a hotly buzzed author might warrant a bigger campaign, the movie is getting ready to open overseas in just over a month, and the first international poster has arrived.

Corey StollTye SheridanChloe Grace Moretz, Nicholas Hoult, Sterling Jerins and Christina Hendricks co-star in the movie that follows Libby Day (Theron), who as a teenager witnesses the murder of her family and testifies against her brother when he is tried for the crime. 25 years later, Libby is brought before the secretive, crime-solving Kill Club which wants to uncover the truth. Gilles Paquet-Brenner ("Sarah’s Key") directed the flick, and we’ll soon see if his work measures up to Fincher’s obsessive attention to detail.
