First Listen: Rose Byrne's Jackie Q With Russell Brand's Aldous Snow Singing "Supertight" From 'Get Him To The Greek'

Here’s a first listen of Rose Byrne’s pop-princess character Jackie Q’s single “Supertight” featuring Russell Brand’s Aldous Snow in Nicholas Stoller’s upcoming “Get Him To The Greek.”

Obviously a play on the slate of sexualized but “religious-minded” pop-artists, Jackie Q is described as an artist “who has released a sexy streak of hits that rival the early work of her musical influences, Madonna and Freddie Mercury. The former model-turned pop star’s bold combination of house beats, high couture and raw sexuality paved the way for a new wave of multimedia artists like Lady Gaga, who cites Jackie as her biggest inspiration.”

Music in the film is, of course, written by the likes of Jarvis Cocker, Carl Barat (of The Libertines) and Jason Segel, as well as “Walk Hard” songwriters Dan Bern and Mike Viola. Take a listen to the song after the jump:

Q and Snow’s Pinnacle Records, which is headed by Diddy’s Sergio Roma character, also has a website up and it’s definitely an amusing browse. Detailed rosters have even been fabricated with humorously named fake artists such as Crispy Creme, Horribly Sad, STD & Ballz and one artist called TBD who specializes in “Spaghetti Western themed German love songs.” Also unveiled is the official website for Aldous Snow’s band Infant Sorrow whose discography confirms our previously reported track listing for the “Get Him To The Greek” soundtrack.

Finally, there’s also a video of a performance by Snow in London of his hit single, “Inside Of You.” What starts off as a regular performance but quickly takes a turn as Brand enters the crowd and is heavily embraced by them. We’re not even sure if it was planned or not but from that point on, the singing stops. Hopefully his on screen performance in the film is better than this one with “Get Him To The Greek” set to hit theaters next week, June 4th.
