Earlier this year, Chris O’Dowd casually revealed that he had filmed a quick, small role for “Thor: The Dark World,” and then we sorta forgot about it. Well, a fresh reminder has now arrived.
Empire has tweeted a first look at the actor in the movie sitting opposite Natalie Portman and Kat Dennings. There’s still no word on his actual part, but something tells us he’ll be charming, witty and hilarious as is usually the case. “Actually, you know what I’ve done, just for fun because I didn’t think there was any way that I could be in a superhero movie, so I’ve done a scene in the new ‘Thor‘ movie, just for that. I just do like one scene, which was quite fun,” he said this spring.
Meanwhile, the promotional machine the sequel continues with USA Today unveiling the Lego version of the poster because, toys and cross-promotion. You see, the “Lego: Marvel Super Heroes” game drops on October 22nd on XBox and PlayStation, so in case you get burned out on “Grand Theft Auto V,” you can try out something a little lighter. “Thor: The Dark World” hits on November 8th.
