Even though Nicole Kidman has a strong possibility for an Oscar nomination thanks to her excellent turn in the upcoming drama “Rabbit Hole,” audiences haven’t been flocking to her films, so its no surprise she’s taking roles in more bankable projects. She has a cameo appearance in the upcoming Adam Sandler/Jennifer Aniston vehicle “Just Go With It” and is set to appear in the recently wrapped Joel Schumacher thriller “Trespass” with Nicolas Cage (who nearly bailed just days before filming was to begin).
We now have our first look at the film which shows the two leads rightly terrified; they play a husband and wife who are taken hostage by four brutal perpetrators seeking easy cash with chaos further ensuing as betrayal and deception, presumably within the camp of criminals, are uncovered. Ben Mendelsohn, Dash Mihok, Liana Liberato, Cam Gigandet and Jordana Spiro round out the cast and the film will hit theaters next year.
We also have our first official look at the upcoming teenage alien thriller “I Am Number Four.” Geeks were excited when the first trailer dropped last week. We thought it was ok, and this first still more or less seems like a screengrab from the end of that spot, but we do have some hope it will be some decent popcorn entertainment. The film starring Alex Pettyfer, Teresa Palmer, Timothy Olyphant, Kevin Durand and Dianna Agron hits theaters on February 18, 2011.
Update: obviously larger scans from the magazine have been added.
