EW has posted a few pics from upcoming films-of-interest. First up is Sarah Silverman in “Peep World,” a dramatic turn for the comedienne who stars as one of three siblings that must deal when a fourth publishes a novel revealing intimate family secrets. Michael C. Hall and Rainn Wilson join the cast as two of her brothers.
And to your right, an awkward moment between Alessandro Nivola and Abigail Breslin, who play an estranged father-daughter pair getting to know one another in “Janie Jones.” Elisabeth Shue makes an appearance as Breslin’s former groupie mom, who leaves her daughter at a concert with a rocker (Nivola) that, surprise, is her father.
And lastly a peek at the Sarah Polley (“Away from Her”) directed “Take This Waltz” with Michelle Williams and Luke Kirby. Seth Rogen also stars in the film, which follows a young wife caught between her husband and a hot neighbor. Guess which is which.
Both ‘Jones’ and ‘Peep World’ will premiere at TIFF on Friday, while ‘Waltz’ is set for release sometime next year.
