First & New Pics From David Gordon Green's 'Prince Avalanche,' 'The East' & 'Lovelace'

nullSo, the Sundance Film Festival dropped their Premieres line up and it's a heckuva slate coming in January. And of course, new images for all the movies coming fast and strong, so let's get with it….

Revealed by surprise over the summer, David Gordon Green has completed a low budget remake of the Icelandic film "Either Way" titled "Prince Avalanche," and has rounded up Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch to star, with a score by Explosions In The Sky and David Wingo. Here's the official synopsis: Two highway road workers spend the summer of 1988 away from their city lives. The isolated landscape becomes a place of misadventure as the men find themselves at odds with each other and the women they left behind.

Zal Batmanglij returns to Park City where he broke out with the unfairly slept on "Sound Of My Voice," re-teaming with Brit Marling for the eco-thriller "The East." Alexander Skarsgård, Ellen Page, Patricia Clarkson and more co-star. Here's the official synopsis: An operative for an elite private intelligence firm goes into deep cover to infiltrate a mysterious anarchist collective attacking major corporations.  Bent on apprehending these fugitives, she finds her loyalty tested as her feelings grow for the group's charismatic leader.

Meanwhile, Amanda Seyfried will go from "Les Miserables" to the porn biopic "Lovelace," taking the title role of the infamous "Deep Throat" sensation. A whole host of names pop up including Peter Sarsgaard, James Franco, Adam Brody,  Sharon Stone and more. Here's the official synospis: Deep Throat, the first pornographic feature film to be a mainstream success, was an international sensation in 1972 and made its star, Linda Lovelace, a media darling. Years later the “poster girl for the sexual revolution” revealed a darker side to her story. 

Fox Searchlight will distribute "The East" while the other two films are seeking deals.nullnull
