First Official Look At Sacha Baron Cohen In Military Gear In 'The Dictator'

Yesterday brought us the first unofficial set photo of Sacha Baron Cohen in his upcoming dual role comedy “The Dictator,” and the studio has responded by dropping an official picture today.

Debuted on Huffington Post (via Collider) this new pic shows Cohen in his titular role with the kind of hair/beard wig that would make Nic Cage drool. In case you’re still playing catch up, the film co-stars Ben Kingsley, Jason Mantzoukas and Anna Faris and is described as a cross between “Coming to America” and “Trading Places,” with Cohen playing both a goat herder and a deposed foreign dictator who gets lost in the United States. Kingsley will play a Middle Eastern character, with Mantzoukas slotted as a sidekick and Faris as the love interest and owner of an organic food store. And yes, the details are a bit scattershot since specifics are being kept under wraps.

Filming is underway with Larry Charles directing. “The Dictator” hits theaters on May 11, 2012. Full image below.
