First Poster For Park Chan-Wook’s 'Stoker' Presents A Haunted Vine Of Images

nullEverything we've seen so far about Park Chan-Wook's "Stoker" suggests a heightened fairy tale, an eerie, somewhat unreal story that is half fable, half thriller. And the first poster for the movie certainly plays up that angle in yet another exciting tease for the upcoming film.

The illustrated one sheet presents stars Nicole Kidman and Mia Wasikowska front and center, above a casket, while the vine of images around them include a skull, a piano, a shovel, and a lot of birds. These seem to be elements from the story that follows India (Wasikowska), whose enigmatic and estranged uncle (Matthew Goode) returns to the family after the death of the girl’s father, and takes up with her mother (Kidman). But in a little Hitchcockian twist, people start going missing in town at the same time, and he might be the cause.

It's still quite a distance to the March 1, 2013 release date, but it's circled in red on our calendar. Below is a promo teaser with footage you've seen before set to Emily Wells“Becomes The Color,” an original song, written specifically for the film[Empire]
