A little event called the San Diego Comic-Con happened this past weekend and today finds nerds nationwide nursing superhero hangovers. But it seems there’s still more to unveil from the movies that razzle-dazzled over the weekend, as one of the biggest—very literally—now has some fresh artwork.
EW has unveiled the first posters for “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” which very do indeed mash up the faces of Magneto and Professor Xavier past and present. And is it just us, or are Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender looking more eerily similar than Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy? Granted, the latter is rocking a pretty filthy beard. Either way, the massive cast and big story which features time jumping, Sentinels and more is an ambitious one if anything, and we’ll see if Bryan Singer and co. can pull it off.
Check out the posters below, character portraits above and the full blown Comic-Con press conference for the film. “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” hits on May 22, 2014.
