Netflix Original Films can be widely divergent in quality. For every high profile effort like “Beasts Of No Nation,” “War Machine,” and “Okja” there are tons of other projects you probably never heard of like “Deidra & Laney Rob A Train” (which debuted at Sundance to almost zero buzz) and “Take The 10” (a comedy atrocity released in January starring Josh Peck and Tony Revolori). Then there are others which arrive out of thin air like “Game Over, Man!” — but this one intrigues with the powerful names behind the camera.

Scott Rudin, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg are among the producers of this action comedy starring Adam Devine, Anders Holm and Blake Anderson, about a bunch of video game dorks who literally have to jump into action to save their financial backer. Here’s the official synopsis:
Three childhood friends grew up with the dream of becoming videogame creators, only to land as low-level maids in a downtown LA hotel. When a flamboyant billionaire celebrity partying at their hotel unexpectedly offers to finance their game… before they can bust out the champagne, the hotel is taken over by terrorists and the billionaire is held hostage. It’s up to the dipshits to rescue their bankroller and make their life-changing dreams come true.
“Game Over, Man!” will arrive on Netflix on April 20, 2018 aka 4/20 because lol weed!
